A Student Initiated Effort to Improve the Quality of Life

Purple Cow Pastures is a student-owned, student-run meal plan designed to let students use their dining dollars on the food they love to eat – when and how they love to eat it!

Currently, the Williams College meal plan enables students to eat at dining halls across campus.

The Purple Cow Pastures Purple Card widens students’ eating horizons to include take out, eat in, and delivery options. Our offerings have grown to include a majority of the most popular establishments in the Williamstown area including Pappa Charlie’s Deli, Spice Root Indian Cuisine, Colonial’s Pizza, Ephporium Market, Wild Oats Co-op Grocery, That’s A Wrap!, Isabella’s Italian Restaurant, and Hobson’s Choice – hopefully with more of your favorite dining destinations coming soon!

In addition, after a successful launch during the 2009-2010 academic year, our restaurant partners have decided to give back to the students that use the Purple Card at their restaurants.

New in the fall of 2010, all Purple Card members will earn points in the Purple Cow Pastures Rewards program. More information about the new rewards program and the exciting free food offers is located in the Purple Card section of our website.

Purple Cow Pastures is a young and growing venture. We are an organization for the students, by the students and are constantly trying new ways to improve what we can offer fellow students of Williams College.
